Recipe Swap

I took a poll, and this is what was voted on to share! Good and terribly fattening. Oh well, hopefully we will share healthier later. This is a crowd pleaser.

Italian Layer Bake

2, 8 oz. tubes reduced fat crescent roll dough
1 lb. deli turkey
1 lb. deli ham
24 slices hard salami
16 slices provolone cheese
1, 12 oz. jar roasted red peppers (2 if no picky eaters and you want this on both sides ;))
8 large eggs, beaten.
Italian seasoning to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Unroll dough from first tube, and place in a greased 13 x 9 pan. (You can pinch all the seams to look pretty, but I am always in too big a hurry!) Layer with half of each turkey, ham, salami, and cheese. Put half of drained peppers on top of the cheese on the adult side of pan! Repeat with meats, cheese and peppers only. Top with second tube of crescent dough. Pour beaten eggs over. Cover with foil.

Bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil. Cook 20-25 minutes more. or until eggs are no longer runny.

I often use less meat, and sometimes just what isn't getting eaten for sandwiches, but salami is a must!!

Be sure to head over to Park City Girl to check out all the links to recipes that everyone has shared!!

Blessings,

KT
