Have a feeling that the cutting out part takes the longest.
Washed and ready to iron and cut. Exterior fabrics were a great deal. Interior fabrics are stash.
Thought that I would cut out what I could while waiting on a good deal on interfacing. I need a ton!
Happy Saturday! (We are off to go roller skating!)
Blessings,
KT
Great fabric choices - look forward to seeing more!
ReplyDeleteYay, your fabric came!!! Looking good so far :)
ReplyDeleteBet you had a blast rollerskating! I want to go! ;) I can't wait to see your bag.... I have an Amy Butler bag but got intimidated and stopped looking at the pattern! I like the look of the fabric you are using! and I am curious (nosey) what is the cute peek of something in the last picture with the ruffle bottom on the right side of the picture?!!
ReplyDeleteLeslie,
ReplyDeleteYes we had a blast. To be honest, I am a bit intimidated by the Amy Butler bag too, but I am going for it!! You can find out what the ruffle is all about here:

KT, hope you enjoyed your roller skating excursion! Can't wait to see the bag making process. I have several AB bag patterns (for some reason can't resist them), but have too afraid to start one. You've chosen some great fabrics for your bag!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics chosen for your bag. I did the infamous Weekender, and then sent my pattern to Elizabeth and she seems to be getting along quite well. How is your bag coming along? Anxious to hear what you think of the whole process after you are done.
