Can you guess what I got you? My LQS still has some of these awesome precuts. Thought that you all might be interested.
I like to keep things simple around here, so both of these charm packs will go to one lucky reader. Just leave a comment, and for fun, share one quilty admission. Here is mine. I hate to pin!!! I avoid it at all costs.
Please make sure your email address is attached to your account so I can reach you should you win. I will close the giveaway sometime Tuesday evening March 8th. No need to follow unless you want to. I am still a little amazed that so many people care what I am sewing!!
The giveaway is now closed!
Blessings,
KT
Ok here's mine. I still struggle with keeping a consistent 1/4" seam. Awful, yes?
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric!!
A quilty admission? How about this...I am scared of precuts!
ReplyDeleteLet me see....okay....I will try to cut corners and usually it spells disaster.... Thanks for this giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI hate to finish my works - when I get to the stage that I can see that it will look ok, I don't have patience to finish it (except binding, which I love recently).
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway!
Quilty admission- I hate making bias binding, it is necessary but by the time I am ready to bind I am so excited to finish that I want to shortcut the binding making.
ReplyDeleteWow what a catch! I used that fabric for my niece's brithday quilt for her first birthday so it holds a special place for me! My admission - gulp - I can't sew a straight line but love straight line quilting so I use painters tape to mark my rows, even bigger admission - even then my lines are awfully wonky!
ReplyDeleteMy quilty admission--I love piecing together quilt tops way more than I enjoy the act of quilting.
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few admissions to make but will limit myself for your sakes :P I hate making and sizing up quilt backings....my tops stall out because I dread having to piece a backing big enough...
ReplyDeleteMy quilty admission: I have never done anything applique!
ReplyDeleteI love getting charm packs in pairs. so muc more you can do with them! This is an amazing line.

ReplyDeleteThanks, what a great giveaway, my quilty admission is that I am obssessed w/ Tula Pink!
ReplyDeletehmmm quilty admission. I have three quilts "in the works" two WAY past dead line and one coming up on it and another four planned. EEK!!!
ReplyDeleteI really don't like pinning either, it's slows me down and whenever I work with pins I get poked.
ReplyDeleteI came by earlier today and blogger would not let me post...so I am back.
ReplyDeleteHummmm...well...cutting corners, it usually gets me in trouble.
this is great...i would have to admit that my least favorite part of quilting is the quilting~!! it scares me and challenges me and i often think i could do without this part of the process.
ReplyDeleteI really struggle with following pattern instructions!
ReplyDeletei hate pinning, too. and i LOVE interfacing. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I make up excuses to use it.
ReplyDeletegreat giveaway, KT!
My quilty admission....I am obssessed with 30's repros....but I don't use them! I just collect them!!!LOL I change out the stash on my shelf in front of me, so I can just enjoy them!! Would love this giveaway, I adore the colors!

Mine is exactly the same I HATE pinning with a passion. If a pattern strongly suggests pinning I change patterns or try without it.
ReplyDeletelewisdca@msn.com
while i also hate pinning and avoid it at all costs, my biggest "secret/admission" in quilting is that i (almost) never start with the end in mind - either no pattern making of blocks, or no idea what i'll do with a block design. :o)
ReplyDeleteI love Hushabye!! Thanks for the giveway!! I admit that I really know nothing about color and picking colors, I just go with what I think looks good :)
ReplyDeleteI heart Hushabye!
ReplyDeleteMy admission? I cannot cut a straight line with scissors to save my life. Any other shape is fine, but not a straight line. Even with stripes I am likely to jump a line or two.
I also hate and avoid pinning at all costs.

My admission? I don't measure for borders. I sew them on and trim the end. I don't care what anyone says, they lay flat! :P
ReplyDeleteMy quilty secret: I love to hand sew binding on! Thanks for the opportunity to win. gougeonathome@charter.net
ReplyDeleteOOOH so pretty! :)
ReplyDeleteMy admission: I hate basting!
I hate pins too (straight AND safety). But my admission is that I sometimes cheater-bind my Project Linus quilts, just sandwich the layers into some seam binding and machine sew away, all layers at once. Oh, I'm bad!
ReplyDeleteI also hate to pin, and avoid it every chance I can. I also avoid tearing out if I can make it work without doing so.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this great giveaway! Tula Pink is my all-time favorite designer, and I don't have any of this collection.
Thanks for posting to GXQ. Hmm. my admission... I've been quilting for 5 years and it's only been the past 2 months that I've actually started to enjoy the "quilting" part!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I hate my sewing machine. But I hated the previous one even more.
ReplyDeleteI do not like to hand sew binding. I will try to machine sew it down if at all possible. Thanks for the fun giveaway :-)
ReplyDeleteI love Hushabye. I just saw it on another quilt this week and was thinking about buying some. I have to admit I hate quilting my quilt. It sounds odd to say it but picking out the fabrics and design is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteLooking for ideas for a block swap and found your cute site! Love these fabrics...
ReplyDeleteoooo Hushabye!! My quilty confession is also I hate pinning...i hardly ever pin anything!! Thanks for the giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteI read blogs more than I sew...Does that count as a crafty admission? Thanks so much for the giveaway! I
ReplyDeleteI love Hushabye! Quilty admission - I'm addicted to fabric! LOL When I buy it online, I have it shipped to work so my husband doesn't know how much I buy!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this line but never got any of it before it became pretty hard to find. My quilty admission: I don't really like piecing very much. I like everything else about quilts (especially having the finished one), but I'm really not that crazy about piecing.
ReplyDeleteCan I tell you how much I'd love to win this fabric! It will help complete a Tula Pink quilt I have planned for my sister. My guilty quilt admission: I have yet to master a 1/4" accurate seam and probably don't care as much as I should! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI dont have any for the moment. i am just a beginner and I LOVE everything.
ReplyDeleteI don´t like basting...What a surprise...?
ReplyDeleteBut I do like the hushabye charmpacks! How cute are these!!!
no_mimikri@gmx.de
Hushabye would be perfect for a baby quilt for a due this summer grandniece. Thanks for the giveaway. There is one part of quilting that I do not enjoy - basting the sandwich on a large quilt.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this is a lucky find!! My quilting confession - i hate piecing backings. Therefore I'm starting to develop a pile of tops waiting for attention because I don't like doing the backs.
ReplyDeleteI am scared of cutting my own binding, I have been using bias tape from the store! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful fabric! Thanks for the giveaway! My quilting confession - I don't like basting, it takes SO long! :)
ReplyDeletePretty charm packs! I'm scared of sewing machines and have only done all my piecing and quilting by hand. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOOh hushabye! I would love to win them!
ReplyDeleteMy quilty confession... yes, I too hate to pin and only do it when absolutely neccessary. LOL But.. that's not much of a confession. How about this... i just scorched my DQS quilt. Nice big yellow iron mark, with steam hole marks and everything. Arggghhh!! :(
I admit that I don't measure for binding. I just cut it out, sew it on, and hope for the best. I usually end up with several yards of extra binding. Horrible waste, I know.
